93 Points, James Suckling
A pinot bianco with crystal-clear aromas of sliced apples, white flowers and minerals that follow through to a full body with density and structure that delivers freshness and layers at the finish. Flint and other minerals to the attractive fruit at the end. Drink or hold.

Elena Walch’s 2019 Pinot Bianco may be the best example of Pinot Blanc I’ve ever had. Super light in color, with a busy nose that boasts ripe aromas of citrus, apple pie with a hint of fresh bouquet. Made entirely in stainless steel, the wine is expressive, fresh and finishes as clean and tight as can be. At 93 points and under $20, this one is a home run.
This is an extremely versatile wine, delicious as an aperitif as well as an accompaniment for fish and poultry dishes
