Carey Bringle is the self-proclaimed ‘Peg Leg Porker’ and the genius behind this brand. Without a single co-worker or dollar in backing, he began buying up barrels of Tennessee Whiskey from around the state, aging him in a production facility and then finishing and bottling them. But here’s where it gets even better.
He actually invented a new filtration process for the juice. Every drop of the 4-6 year old sourced Bourbon runs through his own hickory charcoal he himself burns down in the pits of his BBQ restaurant. He puts it through the filtration process three times too – emparting a wonderful unmatched smokiness and tanginess to his Straight Bourbon Whiskey. This is a delicious, super-flavorful Tennessee Whiskey. He doesn’t say what facility this is made at but it has to be George Dickel. The quality here is phenomenal.
