Bhakta 1928 Armagnac Blend Rye Whiskey

The co-founder of WhistlePig alongside the legendary late, great Dave Pickerell, Raj has been highly selective and slow to release too many new offerings under his newly launched Bhakta Spirits, but all the releases have been memorable.

The majority of his releases have been vintage statements, making Bhakta the largest collection of Single Vintage Spirits in the world, but that’s not what we have here today. Instead, we have a crazy, one-of-a-kind blend.

The 1928 Armagnac Blend is named ‘1928’ because it literally has 1928 Armagnac in the blend. It also contains 1941, 1962, and most importantly, the legendary #1 rated 1973 vintage, along with 17 other vintages. Together, it fuses these ancient French Armagnacs with Calvados and a delicious five-year American whiskey to create this insane Rye-dominant blend.
