Fresh off a huge feature in The Wall Street Journal in which they were crowned as the top Prosecco Rose in a lineup of 14, I suspect what was once our little secret will explode. James Suckling also finally got around to tasting it and gave it 91 points. I’d rate it even higher. The 2020 Bisol Jeio Brut Prosecco Rosé is remarkable, and simply put, mouth-wateringly delicious. Inviting aromas of flowers and wild strawberries, with a complex mouthfeel that sings with citrus fruits and creaminess from the tiny crisp bubbles.
Bisol “Jeio” Prosecco Rose 2020
When Bisol, the founding family of Prosecco first decided to make a Prosecco Rose, we were the first in the U.S. to get our hands on it. For a while, it was our little secret–Â an intricate blend of Pinot Nero and Glera Tonda from the Veneto region in Northern Italy.
Now, fresh off a huge feature in The Wall Street Journal, I suspect what was once our little secret to explode. If you don’t have a subscription, I’ll save you the trouble. It was declared the very best in a lineup of fourteen different Prosecco Roses. No surprise to me.
Inviting aromas of flowers and wild strawberries, with a complex mouthfeel that sings with citrus fruits and creaminess from the tiny crisp bubbles. This is a ‘must have’ for Mother’s Day and all summer long
