Booker’s ‘Master Distiller’s Batch’ Bourbon 2024-03

Categories ,

This is the third 2024 installment of the limited production project from the bourbon leaders, Booker’s and their iconic master distiller, Freddie Noe.

In my opinion, this newest batch blows the other installments from this year out of the water. I’m not sure if that’s by design or not considering what I know this one means to Freddie personally. He’s calling it the “Master Distiller’s Batch” as an homage to his Hall-of-Fame father Booker, and the men who came before him who forever changed the landscape and the job responsibilities of a master distiller.

He really dialed up something special with this small batch, in no small part because it was almost all of this blend was produced on Booker’s Noe birthday back in December of 2016. This beauty is a total monster at 130.3 Proof (65.15% alc.) but there’s so many flavors and nuance swirling, that the heat manages to be hardly even noticeable. It’s so long and smooth and elegant with a finish that will last for the rest of the year! If you haven’t snagged a Booker’s Small Batch yet, I suggest you start here. It won’t disappoint.

Original price was: $155.00.Current price is: $120.00.

This is the third and latest 2024 installment of the limited production project from the Bourbon leaders, Booker’s, and their iconic master distiller, Freddie Noe. He’s calling this batch his ‘Master Distiller’s Batch’ as an homage to the men who helped shape his illustrious career including his Hall-of-Fame father, the legend Booker Noe. This one is for how Booker and the “older statesmen” as Freddie calls them, changed the job of Master Distiller from just managing the distillery to doing it all and becoming celebrities in the process.

This is a little bit of an older age statement than the last few in the series. The age is 7 years, 8 months, 7 days and is 130.3 proof. In fact, much of this batch was produced in 2016 on Freddie’s dad’s birthday, December 7th. The breakdown of barrel storage for Booker’s “Master Distillers Batch” is as follows:

10% came from the 6th floor of 7-story warehouse Z
11% came from the 6th floor of 7-story warehouse 1
42% came from the 6th floor of 7-story warehouse 3
37% came from the 3rd floor of 9-story warehouse J
