Contini makes the wine with indigenous yeasts that give this one almost sherry-like aromas and ferment it in oak and chestnut barrels (Caratelli) for at least four years. That creates this crazy deep golden color, an array of crazy tropical and nutty aromas and a salty, delectable mid-palate that keeps you wanting to keep coming back for more and more.
