By now, almost everyone knows DeLille Cellars. Suffice it to say, the cat is completely out of the bag on that one. The boutique, artisan winery located in tiny Woodinville, Washington is smack dab in the middle of a Washington win streak that’s akin to Napa Valley in the early 1990s. Every passing year it seems like scores are high, demand is way up and outside money is being poured into the state to start new projects. But basically everybody is trailing DeLille.

DeLille Cellars is one of the few wineries who hold the distinction of having both a red and white wine in both Wine Spectator and Wine & Spirits’ Annual Top 100 lists concurrently. The boutique winery has wowed all who have come into contact with them, with their distinct style of making blends true to the terroir of Washington State through the European way of blending.

Robert Parker, Jr. himself became totally obsessed with the winery after visiting it one year, even going so far as to call the boutique winery, “the Lafite Rotschild of Washington State”.

But despite becoming one of Washington’s true cult wineries in a short period of time, DeLille shows no signs of letting up at all, instead forging ahead with a new project that further sets them apart from their competitors. While prices continue to balloon in Washington and wines like DeLille’s signature D2 become $50+/bottle – DeLille has launched ‘Metier’ at the exact perfect time.
