Frescobaldi’s story is one that is very closely connected with the history of Tuscany. Sitting just outside of Florence at the high point of the medieval old-town, the Frescobaldis were previous patrons of major works in Florence, such as Santa Trinita Bridge and the Basilica of Santo Spirito.
For the last 700 years, they’ve been growing wine in Tuscany. Slowly and carefully they have purchased estates which have given them access to all sorts of terroir throughout some of the most prime locations in all of Tuscany.
With properties along the hills of Montalcino, throughout Nipozzano to the hidden gem of Castello Pomino all the way up to Tenuta Ammiraglia by the sea and Tenuta Perano in the heart of Chianti Classico, the wines made here all tell profoundly different stories.
