This is a pretty amazing white wine that has consistently been rated highly by Vinous, Parker’s Wine Advocate and Italy’s sacred ‘Gambero Rosso’. It’s a 100% Timorasso that comes from one tiny parcel organically farmed with 27-year-old vines in Montemarzino-Monleale, just east of Asti in Piedmont’s white wine bread basket.
Timorasso is having its moment in Piedmont and beyond – a pure, high-altitude white wine that has boldness, but also the piercing minerality that so many white wine lovers crave and that beautiful acidic cut that holds up to just about any kind of food that you can throw at it. With that being said… if you have this with anything in a cream sauce, you may fall in love.
