Its silken, creamy feel is offset by zesty acidity, as ripe wild berries and fruits mix with tart citrus. The 2007 finishes with amazing length and depth, leaving a fresh sensation as violet inner florals and worn leather fade slowly. This is really quite special and mature. I can’t help but think of the 2007 as a Barolo-lovers’ Lambrusco.”
