Situated in the heart of Napa’s Rutherford growing region, St. Supéry Estate has established a unique niche for itself. While the winery is known for its fantastic Rutherford Cabernet Sauvignons that showcase the best of Napa Valley terroir, its true standout is its super pure, crisp Sauvignon Blanc.
St. Supéry’s Sauvignon Blanc stands out in large part due to the unique terroir of the Dollarhide Ranch, a 1,530-acre property in the northeastern mountains of St. Helena. Ever since they bought that property, their white wine program has exploded on the scene.
The diverse climate and mineral-rich soils play a big role in the huge scores that St. Supéry’s consistently racks up. The cool nights on the mountains are no doubt responsible for the beautiful natural acidity that enhances the stone fruit, citrus, and tropical fruit flavors of the wine and then the winemaking team takes care of the rest.
