“2022 was a beautiful vintage, among the most perfect that Marco de Grazia has ever experienced since he arrived on Etna. The summer was dry and warm, but the winter rains helped the vines grow without stress. Harvested in September, sourcing grapes from vineyards of different ages situated between 700 and 850 metres above sea level, the 2022 vintage shows inviting aromas of red cherry, pink grapefruit, ginger and oyster shell. The texture is creamy and velvety, with a savoury acidity that creates length and a multi-layered finish. This is a beautiful wine with depth and freshness.”

Heady aromas of rose petal, white cherry and apple blossom offer an alluring entry Tenuta Terre Nere Etna Rosato, which according to the wine-maker, has the body of a white but the soul of a red. The palate is crisp and sleek, on the light side of medium bodied, with redolent flavors of citrus zest, pink fruit and just enough minerality to remind you that you are drinking wine grown on the slopes of an active volcano.

“A plush rosé marked by succulent acidity, with peach skin, white cherry and watermelon aromas and flavors that burst from the glass. Offers floral, chalk, eucalyptus and smoke accents. “
