The Ultimate Argiano 3-Pack

This is a very special 3-pack with a whole lot of firepower! It gives our readers the chance to fully dive into the Sangiovese skills of Argiano, one of Tuscany’s all-time great wineries. The folks at Argiano have continued their tear with one of the greatest achievements in wine – seeing their 2018 Brunello di Montalcino crowned the #1 Wine of the Year by Wine Spectator.

There are almost no bottles of that special wine left as you can imagine. As soon as the #1 Wine of the Year announcement came, the phones at Argiano have not stopped ringing once. Luckily, we managed to get our hands on a six-pack. But after tasting their ‘Solengo’ a beautiful and super highly rated SuperTuscan, and their 91-point Rosso di Montalcino, it was clear to me that giving folks a taste of everything these guys can do is well worth it. Snag a 3-pack quickly! These will fly out the door. I didn’t even feel comfortable sending a text for this one… it would sell out too quickly!

Original price was: $215.00.Current price is: $199.00.

95 Points, Parker’s Wine Advocate (2019 Argiano Solengo)
“Opening to a thick, blackish appearance, the Argiano 2019 Solengo is definitely more concentrated and tightly stitched together next to the 2018 edition. This is a supersized blend of 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 25% Petit Verdot, 20% Merlot and 5% Sangiovese that reveals the extra concentration of the vintage, and the important use of new and used French oak (for 18 months of aging), to create a texturally important and aromatically intense expression. The vines are planted in alluvial soils rich in sand and calcareous marl at 280 to 310 meters in elevation. The grapes are farmed organically and are relatively young, at up to 22 years of age. Plummy fruit and ripe blackberry segues to spice, tar and tobacco.”

#1 Wine Spectator Top 100 of 2023 – 95 Points (2018 Argiano Brunello di Montalcino)

“Rose, strawberry and cherry aromas and flavors are the main themes in this red, along with wild herb, mineral and cut hay accents. Racy and full of energy, with a long, saturated finish. Best from 2025 through 2042.”

#1 Wine of the Year, Wine Spectator Top 100 (2023) – Argiano Brunello
95 Points, Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate – Argiano Solengo

Argiano is experiencing a run like never before in Tuscany, with some huge scores rolling in for the last decade plus, capped by last week’s announcement of their 2018 Brunello di Montalcino as Wine Spectator’s 2023 Wine of the Year. I have just five 3-packs of that wine along with the 2019 Argiano Soleno, their killer Super Tuscan and their gorgeous Rosso di Montalcino. You do not want to miss these while they are in-stock!
