Trousse Chemise Pinot Noir Dundee Hills 2018

Categories , ,

Anne Sery-Martindale’s Trousse Chemise has quickly become the go-to Oregon brand for many of the hottest restaurants in the country. Chinese Tuxedo, Lure Fishbar, & the Mandarin Oriental used to pour it. You could also find it at Chef Carmellini’s The Dutch, Little Park, and the Westlight.

When sommelier Raj Vaidya, Daniel Boulud’s Uber-talented wine-director, was determined to source a single American Pinot Noir to be featured in each of Daniel’s NYC hotspots (Bar Boulud, Daniel, DB Moderne and Cafe Boulud), he made the call to Anne. When the NYC restaurant group closed for the foreseeable future, we were able to help make sure those abandoned bottles found a happy home. I hope you were able to snag a couple.

Original price was: $45.00.Current price is: $23.00.

Anne Sery’s Trousse Chemise heads to the birthplace of Oregon Pinot Noir and perhaps the most revered AVA in the state. With the famous rich, deep Jory soil beneath her feet, Anne’s Dundee Hills Pinot Noir shows a side of Trousse Chemise we haven’t seen as much of before: sheer power. It’s a full-bodied, layered Pinot Noir with strawberry, violet and chocolatey notes meets gentle earthy and campfire aromas, and with a well-refined, smooth finish that makes putting the glass down a tall task.
